Kevin Greiner, President and Chief Executive Officer
Under the leadership of President and CEO Kevin Greiner, Gas South has become one of the southeast’s leading retail natural gas providers, serving over 280,000 residential, business and governmental customers in Georgia and Florida. Mr. Greiner has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, including prior management roles with Southern Company. He has served as Gas South’s CEO since its formation in 2006.
Mr. Greiner’s dedication to the local community has also seen him take on a number of other non-profit board leadership roles. He serves on the board of the United Way of Greater Atlanta and chaired the 2012-13 Workplace Campaign, which brought in over $77 million in community investment. At the Georgia Chamber, Mr. Greiner serves on the Executive Committee and the Board of Governors. He currently serves as Chairman for the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, Georgia's leading education policy and advocacy organization. He also serves on the board of ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions and the YMCA of Metro Atlanta.
Mr. Greiner holds a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s of science in natural resource policy from the University of Michigan. He earned his bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University.
Sandy Miller, CPA, CFE, CMA, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Sandy Miller has served as Gas South's Senior Vice President and CFO since its inception in 2006.
Prior to joining Gas South, she spent 26 years with Southern Company, working in several accounting,
auditing and operational roles. Miller was the first female senior production officer at
Southern Company and the first female vice president at Savannah Electric.
Miller has a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgia
State University. She serves as the Cobb Chamber of Commerce's Executive Committee Director and
on the steering committee of the chamber's Competitive EDGE program. She also serves on the
board of trustees at the Georgia Ballet. In 2009, she was named CFO of the Year –
Community Service by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Meredith W. Hodges, Vice President of External Affairs and Human Resources
Meredith W. Hodges is responsible for human resources, legislative and regulatory affairs, public relations, community involvement and business development as Gas South's Vice President of External Affairs and Human Resources. She has been with Gas South since its 2006 formation and has more than 25 years of experience in the utility industry.
Hodges received a master's degree in human resource development from Georgia State University and a bachelor's degree from Washington & Lee University. She also is a graduate of Leadership Georgia 2012. Hodges serves on the board of College Park First Methodist Church and mentors professional women through the Pathbuilders® program. She previously served on the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, the boards of the Georgia Society of St Vincent de Paul, and H.E.A.T. as well as held volunteer positions with the Woodruff Arts Center and CFY-Atlanta. In 2013, Hodges was recognized as one of Georgia's Most Powerful and Influential Women by the Georgia Diversity Council and received the Guiding Star Award from the Executive Women of Goizueta at Emory University's Business School in 2011.
Christopher Coan – Vice President and General Manager of Business and Government Markets
As Gas South's Vice President and General Manager of Business and Government Markets, Christopher Coan is responsible for mid-to-large commercial, industrial and institutional customers. This includes overseeing sales, marketing, account management, billing and collections for these customers. Coan joined Gas South in 2006 after spending 18 years at General Electric, where he worked with utilities and large industrial customers.
Coan has a master's degree in business administration from Emory University, and undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at Oneonta and Georgia Tech. Coan serves on the board of the following organizations: Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Georgia Restaurant Association, the Council for Quality Growth, and the WellStar Foundation.
Manon Brochu – Vice President and General Manager of Mass Markets
As Gas South’s Vice President and General Manager of Mass Markets, Manon Brochu is responsible for managing and growing Gas South’s Residential and Small Commercial business. This includes overseeing Gas South’s Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care functions. Brochu has been with Gas South since its inception and has over 20 years in finance, marketing, operations and business development, including positions at Southern Company, Delta Air Lines and Hewlett Packard.
Brochu has a master’s degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Florida. Brochu serves on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command.
Freddy Cardozo – Vice President of Supply and Risk Management
Freddy Cardozo is responsible for all the wholesale natural gas supply, managing the
transportation and storage assets of the company, and its risk management functions as
Gas South's Vice President of Supply and Risk Management. This includes the oversight of
all natural gas physical supply, scheduling, and trading in the wholesale market and
ensuring its transportation and delivery to distribution companies in Georgia and Florida. Before joining Gas South
in 2006, Cardozo worked at Southern Company and Mirant Corporation.
Cardozo has a master's degree in engineering from Arizona State University, where he attended
as a Fulbright Scholar, and a bachelor's degree in electrical & mechanical engineering from the
University of Asunción in Paraguay.
