Kevin Greiner, President and Chief Executive Officer
Under the leadership of President and CEO Kevin Greiner, Gas South has been the
fastest-growing natural gas marketer in Georgia since 2008. Greiner has led the company
since its inception, growing its service to more than 260,000 residential, business and
government customers. Greiner has nearly 15 years of experience in the energy industry,
including management roles at Southern Company Gas and Southern Company Energy Solutions.
Greiner has a master's degrees in business administration and science from the University of
Michigan, and a bachelor's degrees from Wesleyan University. Greiner is the chairman of the
DeKalb Chamber of Commerce and an officer on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. He also serves
as the 2012 campaign chairman of the United Way of Greater Atlanta, as well as on the board of
CredAbility, a non-profit provider of credit and financial counseling services.
Sandy Miller, CPA, CFE, CMA, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Sandy Miller has served as Gas South's Senior Vice President and CFO since its inception in 2006.
Prior to joining Gas South, she spent 26 years with Southern Company, working in several accounting,
auditing and operational roles. Miller was the first female senior production officer at
Southern Company and the first female vice president at Savannah Electric.
Miller has a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgia
State University. She serves as the Cobb Chamber of Commerce's Executive Committee Director and
on the steering committee of the chamber's Competitive EDGE program. She also serves on the
board of trustees at the Georgia Ballet. In 2009, she was named CFO of the Year –
Community Service by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Meredith W. Hodges, Vice President of External Affairs and Human Resources
Meredith W. Hodges is responsible for human resources, legislative and regulatory affairs,
public relations and community involvement as Gas South's Vice President of External Affairs
and Human Resources. She has been with Gas South since its 2006 formation and has more than
20 years of experience in the utility industry.
Hodges received a master's degree in human resource development from Georgia State University
and a bachelor's degree from Washington & Lee University. She also is a graduate of
Leadership Georgia 2012. Hodges serves on the boards of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
and the College Park First Methodist Church Council. She previously served on the Georgia
Professional Standards Commission, as well as held volunteer positions with the Woodruff Arts
Center and Computers for Youth-Atlanta. In 2011, Hodges received the Guiding Star Award from
the Executive Women of Goizueta at Emory University's Business School.
Christopher Coan – Vice President and General Manager of Business and Government Markets
As Gas South's Vice President and General Manager of Business and Government Markets,
Christopher Coan is responsible for mid to large commercial, industrial and institutional
customers. This includes overseeing sales, marketing, account management, billing and
collections for these customers. Coan joined Gas South in 2006 after spending 18 years
at General Electric, where he worked with utilities and large industrial customers.
Coan has a master's degree in business administration from Emory University, and
undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York Oneonta and Georgia Tech.
Coan serves on the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.
Manon Brochu – Vice President and General Manager of Mass Markets
As Gas South's Vice President and General Manager of Mass Markets, Manon Brochu is responsible
for residential and small commercial customers, including sales, marketing, operations and
customer service. Brochu has more than 20 years in business development, finance and
marketing, including positions at Southern Company and Delta Air Lines.
Brochu has a master's degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University and
a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from the University of Florida.
Freddy Cardozo – Vice President of Supply and Risk Management
Freddy Cardozo is responsible for all the wholesale natural gas supply, managing the
transportation and storage assets of the company, and its risk management functions as
Gas South's Vice President of Supply and Risk Management. This includes the oversight of
all natural gas physical supply, scheduling, and trading in the wholesale market and
ensuring its transportation and delivery to Atlanta Gas Light. Before joining Gas South
in 2006, Cardozo worked at Southern Company and Mirant Corporation.
Cardozo has a master's degree in engineering from Arizona State University, where he attended
as a Fulbright Scholar, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the
University of Asunción in Paraguay.
