Kevin Greiner, President and Chief Executive Officer
Whether you’ve been an employee since the beginning or you’ve worked here a month, Kevin Greiner is all about discovering what’s important to people – starting with never forgetting your name. We’re not sure how he does it, but we’re glad he does. At the office Kevin won’t hesitate to chat with you about what you’re up to or the latest tennis highlights – he genuinely cares about every employee.
He’s also passionate about strengthening our community. Under Kevin’s leadership, Gas South has committed to giving back 5% of profits to help children in need. He has built a culture of service while also creating exceptional career paths for employees. He wants to make sure Gas South is a place where people want to be, not a place you feel like you have to be.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the energy sector, Kevin gained expertise in management roles with Southern Company. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s of science in natural resource policy, and earned a bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University.

Interesting fact: Kevin speaks German and is fluent in Dekatherms (Gas South’s band where he plays the piano).
Jamie Tiernan, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jamie believes that when you have more than 300,000 customers and 200 employees, the opportunities to positively impact people and be a different kind of CFO are endless. He has a passion for making a difference in peoples’ lives – whether it’s through increasing the minimum wage for Gas South employees or offering additional benefits for customers.
Responsible for accounting, finance, treasury, IT, project management office, HR, and community affairs at Gas South, Jamie has 19 years of experience in the energy and telecommunications industries.
Jamie is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University.

Interesting fact: Between spreadsheets, volunteering for Boy Scouts and little league baseball, you’ll find Jamie behind his drum kit practicing for his band’s next show.
Chris Coan, Vice President and General Manager of Business and Government Markets (BAGM)
As Gas South’s reigning ping pong champion, Chris Coan is not your average vice president. His lively spirit is apparent in his day-to-day as he manages all mid-to-large commercial, industrial and institutional customers in the southeast. He believes that no matter where you are, there’s a way to find common ground with people – which is one reason our clients love him.
Chris joined Gas South in 2006 after spending 18 years at General Electric, where he worked with utilities and large industrial customers. Chris has a master's degree in business administration from Emory University, and undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at Oneonta and Georgia Tech.
Outside of work, you’ll find Chris outdoors either golfing, playing tennis, testing his balance on a standup paddleboard or trying out the best new restaurant in Atlanta.

Interesting fact: Chris’ first job was a paperboy – a position he held from 6th grade until he graduated high school – and he still considers himself a morning person today.
Manon Brochu, Vice President and General Manager of Mass Markets
During her first job, Manon quickly learned the power of a smile and how your mood affects people. She got an early start making a good impression on hungry drive-through customers at the age of 15. Today, she applies those same values as she manages the Marketing, Operations and Customer Care functions within our Residential and Small Commercial business.
Manon has been with Gas South since our beginning and brings more than 20 years of expertise in finance, marketing, operations and business development. By navigating her way to management at companies including Southern Company, Delta Air Lines and Hewlett Packard, she honed her remarkable communication skills.
As she leads her teams to operate with the same level of excellence as the global brands she’s worked on in the past, Manon values Gas South’s independence and flexibility to make the right decisions for our customers.
Manon earned a master’s degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Florida. In her free time, Manon enjoys traveling with her husband, Chris, and cooking dinner for their friends and neighbors.

Interesting fact: Manon is an admitted clean freak and can fold a set of sheets in 32.6 seconds flat. A skill she acquired at the age of 11 when helping her dad oversee his hotel business.
Freddy Cardozo, Vice President of Supply and Risk Management
As a college student, Freddy Cardozo witnessed the coup d'état of the government in his native country of Paraguay. When you survive the overthrow of your government, you learn a thing or two about negotiating. That’s just one of the many skills Freddy brings to the table at Gas South.
Today, Freddy is responsible for overseeing the wholesale natural gas supply, managing the transportation and storage assets of the company, legislative and regulatory affairs, and the risk management functions as Vice President of Supply and Risk Management at Gas South. His complex background allows him to successfully run all natural gas physical supply, scheduling, and trading in the wholesale market and ensuring its transportation and delivery to distribution companies throughout the southeast.
Freddy touts a master's degree in engineering from Arizona State University, where he attended as a Fulbright Scholar, and a bachelor's degree in electrical & mechanical engineering from the University of Asunción in Paraguay. He’s also known for his love of quantum physics—which he can tell you all about in Spanish, French, Portuguese or English.

Interesting Fact: In the late 80s, Freddy worked in IT and remembers seeing a personal computer for the first time.
